Most of you will hopefully have it already at home.
The Katie Melua Collection CD and DVD.
To start with the concert which most of you will have attended in the Ahoy.
On this DVD a truly fabulous registration of this concert.
If you look back at it you start to realize how many people there were and you also get a better view
on what was happening on the screens. A pity that 2 songs she sang that night are not on this DVD.
They are the second song "Dirty dice" and the third song she did then "I think it's going to rain today".
Why they are not present is unknown.
But anyway this concert sounds terrific en the images are perfect.
"Blues in the night" and Kozmic blues" are the real highlights and here you find splendid version of them.
On this DVD also more than 18 minutes "Behind the screens" which give us a good idea on the technic of
the projection screens. Yes it all seems so simple but here you can see for yourself how they struggle to
get the images and sound right on them.
Then the CD with a lot of songs that are well known to us. But gladly there a 3 beautiful new songs on it as well.
The song "Somewhere in the same hotel" shows us again the love that Katie has for the blues.
The artwork and booklet are well designed.
The presence of all the song lyrics in the booklet is great.
So enjoy and singalong.
