To mark the 90th anniversary of Armistice Katie Melua has recorded a special version of the
World War I classic 'Keep The Home Fires Burning'. She recorded this song especially for
BBC Radio 2.

For the BBC Children In Need's 'Things Money Can't Buy' auction Katie has generously offered
to write a love song for the winning bidder. Last Tuesday November 11th a BBC listener bid an
incredible 20.000 UK pounds. Meanwhile Katie has spoken to the winner to get some background
information and has started writing the song.
On Tuesday November 18th it will be performed live on Terry Wogan's BBC Radio 2 show.
The next new single will also include this new song. The single will be released around
Christmas.
